The Mookerheide
The Mookerheide or Mookerhei is a woodland and heathland area in the Poort naar Limburg, just below Nijmegen, east of Mook in the province of Limburg, on the other side of the Maas at Cuijk. From this heath you have a beautiful view over the entire Land van Cuijk.
The Mookerplas
A nice wide sandy beach, sunbathing lawn, playground equipment and various catering points. Nice when the sun is high in the sky, but the Mookerplas is also a nice destination when the weather is not so good. The Siep, as the lake is popularly called, has an open connection with the Maas, so water sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth. And yes, you can launch the boat here.
