We love traveling the world in search of unique experiences and extraordinary views. In our eagerness to see as much of other continents as possible, we sometimes forget how beautiful our own surroundings are. In fact, much of what we see elsewhere can also be found in the Land van Cuijk. During our holiday in the South of France, we walk in and out of one local church after another, while we have never been inside the church in our own hometown – and therefore have not yet seen the often remarkable art treasures.

It is just an example of what you can see at close range, without incurring much cost or traveling many kilometers. If only you realize it.

'Why go far away when it is close by' was therefore chosen as the theme of the Visit Land van Cuijk campaign in 2024. It is intended to make the inhabitants of the Land van Cuijk (even) more aware of all the beauty to see and experience in their own surroundings.
